"Knobelbecher" 

Diese Stiefel wurden von Wehrpflichtigen und Unteroffizieren mit zeitlich befristetem Dienstverhältnis getragen. Das Leder weist eine Narbenstruktur auf und ist nicht glatt. Im Inneren des Stiefels befindet sich ein Stempel mit der Größe (in diesem Fall 29,5). Auf der Unterseite der Sohle ist die Größe ebenfalls angegeben. Der Schaft des Stiefels ist nicht gefüttert. Ein weiterer Unterschied zum Stiefel eines Berufssoldaten besteht darin, dass dieses Modell etwa 8–10 cm niedriger ausgeführt ist.

English: These boots were worn by conscripts and non-commissioned officers serving on fixed-term contracts. The leather has a grained texture and is not smooth. Inside the boot, a stamp can be found indicating the size (in this case 29.5). The size is also marked on the underside of the sole. The shaft of the boot is unlined. Another difference compared to the boots of a professional soldier is that this model is approximately 8–10 cm shorter.
